Summary:
October 1995 pulse flows on the Stanislaus River were evaluated for their effect on Stanislaus and San Joaquin River water quality as well as the timing of adult fall-run chinook salmon migration into the Stanislaus River. Fall 1995 pulse flows were concluded to have no effect on salmon migration rates or on water quality in the San Joaquin River near Stockton. Pulse flows were concluded to have a temporary effect on Stanislaus River water temperature.
