Summary:
This report contains results of an evaluation of the effects of oxidizable wastes in the San Joaquin River with special emphasis on the waste assimilative capacity of receiving waters near Stockton. Included in the evaluations are considerations of river water quality objectives, waste loadings from the city and upstream areas, and relationships between waste factors and dissolved oxygen in the river.
